Let’s say you’re out for a night on the town with your girlfriends. At a local bar, you meet a great guy. He’s good looking, he’s educated, he’s athletic, he’s romantic, and he wants kids. Your friends feel, however, that you should play the field before settling down. For the next three or four weeks, you see Mr. Perfect but head out on dates your friends set up for you as well.
Suddenly, Mr. Perfect has to go away on an extended business tip for two months and won’t be able to talk to you. Before he goes, decides to pop the question. He seems great but you haven’t had a chance to really see all the sides to his personality. Sure you met his mom for only for 45 minutes at dinner once. Are you ready to make them your in-laws? The Bachelor decides to give the show another chance at helping her find love. Perhaps it’s because the woman will now hold all the cards, choosing between 25 men. DeAnna has made it very public that she wants to settle down with someone and raise a family. The casting process began right after the announcement was made last month that the show was returning. The show airs this summer meaning that filming can only be a few weeks. Is that enough time for DeAnna to find what she’s searching for?
Of all the seasons of
The Bachelor and
The Bachelorette, only one couple (Trista and Ryan Sutter) have succeeded at their relationship in the real world. Of all the people who have participated in the series, no one deserves to find happiness more than DeAnna. However, while the show is great entertainment and one I always look forward to watching, it just may not be the place to find true love. We'll find out when
The Bachelorette returns for a fourth season this summer on ABC.
