As we move on to the second episode of The Bachelorette, we learn just a little bit more about this season's bachelors and see how they fare in Ali's heart. There are a couple of guys who came out on top tonight (the winners) while there are others (the losers) who just don't have what it takes to win the viewers over or possibly Ali's heart. Here are my picks:

The Winners

Frank

Frank exceeds Ali's expectations as they head to Hollywood for their first date and kiss. He makes her realize that he's not just all about fun, he's also about the romance. Plus, he gets Ali's attention by establishing common ground when it comes to being career oriented and following dreams, and manages to keep Ali entertained with his quirky sense of humor.

Roberto

Roberto doesn't go on a one-on-one date tonight, much less on a group date, but the little time he spends with Ali says a lot about his place in her heart. Obviously, she is smitten by his good looks and charming personality. It also helps that he has something new to offer to the table this week (a game of catch and throw) after giving Ali salsa lessons in the first episode.

Jonathan

I'm a bit torn when it comes to Jonathan, also known as the weather man. Clearly, he comes across as one of the winners in this week's episode of The Bachelorette for standing up to Craig M. and for warning Ali about him. On the other hand, he's inadvertently placed himself in the "friend zone" and I can't help but feel that the only reason Ali's keeping him is because he has her back--and this pretty much also makes him a loser.

The Losers

Craig M.

First impressions don't always last but that's not the case for Craig M., also known as the hair guy. It's bad enough that he's established himself as the villain of the season in the first episode alone but what's worse is that he's definitely living up to his reputation by acting like a bully, especially to Jonathan. It's a good thing Ali sees right through him and sends him home for good.

Jesse

Technically, Jesse gets a rose during her date with Ali in Las Vegas where they danced in front of a private concert and shared a fancy dinner. Though the setting is very romantic, seeing Ali and Jesse together is just too painful and awkward to watch. There is no chemistry between them and they have nothing to talk about except maybe for Jesse's hometown population. Heck, even Ali is uncertain if she really wants to keep him. Jesse may have survived tonight but something tells me he won't last long.
