Many thought that Reid was going to be Jillian Harris' choice in the end or that he'd make it to the final two at least, but things didn't work out as planned. The man who obviously had chemistry with Jillian and made her laugh was sent home Monday night on The Bachelorette, leaving Jillian with her final two suitors. But before fans focus their attention to Ed and Kiptyn, the Canadian love searcher shares her sentiments on Reid's elimination.

If you missed the episode, you can read a recap in this article. Basically, Jillian eliminated Reid because "we're at different places in our lives" and he kept his emotions bottled up inside even though he defined everything she was looking for in someone she wants to marry.

"Reid and I had a very good energy together," Jillian wrote on her blog on People. "When we were together, it was like an old high school crush. We rarely worried about the specifics and were always just so flighty together."

"That feeling that I have been looking for was definitely there with Reid, but the promise of any sort of commitment or partnership wasn't there," she added. "And because I have been hurt before by not being realistic, it made me put up a wall and inevitably led to me letting Reid go. I will have to agree with Chris in saying this had to be the most emotional goodbye in Bachelorette history."

Next week, ABC will air the season's The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All reunion special which will feature many of the season's eliminated bachelors. Then, The Bachelorette's two-hour fifth-season finale broadcast will air Monday, July 27 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC.  The following night, the network will air the season's The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose special on Tuesday, July 28 at 10pm ET/PT. Be sure to tune in!
