When Jesse Csincsak got down on one knee and proposed to DeAnna Pappas on the season finale of The Bachelorette this year, they were sure of many things. They were sure that they loved each other and they were sure that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Soon after, they picked a wedding date, May 9, 2009 because that was the day that Jesse proposed. They were sure that they wanted their wedding to be in the Bahamas, because that’s where the two fell in love. However, the one thing DeAnna and Jesse aren’t sure of is how elaborate and extravagant they want their wedding to be. People magazine caught up with Pappas recently and got the details.

“We’ve gone from about 400 people, and we’re breaking it down. I think we want to enjoy ourselves and our day versus having to talk to a bunch of people all day long. So, we’re dwindling it down,” Pappas said of her guest list at the L.A. Confidential pre-Emmy party in Hollywood. Among those who have made the cut and are staying on the list are several Bachelorette people. “I’m friends with a lot of the guys from the same season I was on, Jason [Mesnick] being one of them. Chris Harrison is a great guy. Trista and Ryan have been super-influential to us. We’re psyched to have all of them there,” he said.

With the guest list being worked on, DeAnna still has many more decisions to make. At times, it can seem a bit overwhelming. “I don’t know how people plan a wedding. I know what color I want my dresses to be, and bridesmaid dresses. He wants a cheesecake. And that’s about as far as we’ve gotten,” she admitted. The pair launched a website, DeAnnaAndJesse.com, to keep friends, family, and fans up to date on their wedding plans but the site is currently under construction.
