And then there were three...again. It seems that we are back from where we started a week ago---when Jillian was still mulling over who to choose between Kiptyn, Ed and Reid. Even before rumors surfaced the internet that Reid would be coming back on The Bachelorette, viewers knew somehow that Reid still has some unfinished business with Jillian after hearing him say "If I could reverse things, I would" and last night's preview of the finale hinted just that.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

If you think about it, Reid's absence on last night's The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All special makes sense. History dictates that all eliminated contestants except for the final two suitors are given the chance to weigh in on the Tell All episode.  So Reid going MIA just made it all the more obvious the he is in fact returning with a confession and quite possibly a proposal.

It's one of those things that viewers have been hoping for ever since Reid got the boot and interestingly, it comes true. This doesn't make things easier for Jillian, though. All the "surprise returns" this season has actually made it even more complicated for the Canadian beauty to narrow down her search for true love. First it was Ed, who left the show for work but eventually and conveniently decided to return for another chance with Jillian. Then it was disturbingly perfect Jake, who returned to warn Jillian that Wes has a girlfriend. Next week, it's Reid's time to shine.

I'm actually a little but suspicious about all the "unexpected" returns this season on The Bachelorette. But since we're just one week away from the big finale, I'm already at that point where I don't care anymore that it's scripted.

For now the mystery remains: What's the unexpected confession that will lead to a teary finale? And more importantly, who should Jillian choose in the end?
