Peter Kraus has already moved on from his breakup with Rachel Lindsay on The Bachelorette
season 13 but that doesn't mean he's on friendly terms with his former flame. The fitness guru admits that he has zero percent communication with Lindsay, who is currently engaged to Bryan Abasolo.
Despite the lack of communication with his ex, Kraus remains updated through social media, whether he likes it or not.
"My feeds are full of Bachelor
information," Kraus told Us Weekly
. "She's still very much in the press, and so I see it from time to time. I'm happy for them."
Though Kraus has no regrets about reality TV dating and knows that his relationship with Lindsay was just not meant to be, he also admits that life after The Bachelorette is not easy.
"In a way I'm thankful that the process wasn't really long. If that would've been 20 weeks, the breakup would've been that much harder because the emotions would've been that much stronger towards her," Kraus explained. "And so I think that kind of helped me in getting over it a little bit faster, and there's still days where I think about it and have maybe have some hard moments."
Meanwhile, Kraus is trying to get back into the dating game-- which can be frustrating because of his reality TV stint.
"Making sure that the people are genuine in their interest for why they would reach out to me. And then not being out in public and having everybody just assume that you're with this person," Kraus said. "Like I go out with clients all the time, and a lot of my clients are female. So people start spreading rumors that I'm dating this person."
The Bachelor airs on ABC Mondays at 8p.m. ET.
