And he's wearing a Canadian tuxedo to impress her, maybe?

After Jake spends a million hours trying to remember his lines, he finally tells JIllian that he came back to tell her that Wes has a girlfriend named Laurel, whom he told Jake about more than 3 times.

(Hmm, so why didn't Jake SAY SO when this issue was first brought up back in Episode 4, and he stood there at the rose ceremony saying, "Who is it? WHO IS IT?")

Jake says he is 100% confident in the truth of these accusations, and Jillian starts to cry and believe him. Jake leaves, saying he'll be around if she needs him again. How convenient.

Wes shows up, and Jill asks if there is anything he needs to tell her, and he is like, "AGAIN? SERIOUSLY?" and she finally spills what Jake said. They march Jake out again, this time to confront Wes.

Wes claims he was talking about an EX girlfriend and blah blah blah. Jake says Wes is lying and blah BLAAAH BLERRRRGH I am so mentally tired of this! Jillian sends Jake away, and says she needs to "go with her gut," which means pretend all of this never happened and go meet Wes's family. Because she is a genius (SPOILER ALERT: No, she is not.)

When Jillian meets the family, his 2 moms and 3 sisters say other guys are just jealous of Wes. Always have been, always will be. JEALOUSY. Jillian says she owes it to Wes to believe him, so uh oh Jillian, be careful, watch your hands! Because of what an OPEN AND SHUT CASE this all turned out to be (in your mind)!

After a long week of free dinners and wine, Jillian is exhausted, and says, "NO MORE SURPRISES!" which means SURPRIIIIISE! Ed is back! Which actually means, NO SURPRIIIIIISE! Because of how we all knew this was going to happen.

Ed knocks on her door and says he never stopped thinking about her after he left 2 episodes ago for "work reasons," so will she take him back now? No questions asked? With no regard for the 1 heretofore-established rule for this reality show, which is "No Rose=Goes"? Yes, she will! "Come to the rose ceremony, Ed!" she says. Rules be damned! We've got a script to keep up with!

Now Jillian needs to send home 2 men, and she's got a tough call to make. Except not really, because it's very easy: send home Michael (too young) and Wes (too everything bad and dark and slimy). But don't worry, you guys. I'm sure she'll  mess this one up again.

Ed joins the Rose Ceremony as the men wait for Jillian, and everyone is like, "AHHH WUUUUT?!"

"Nooooooooooooo the weight of this surprise and Ed's gigantic head are tipping me over!"

Jillian joins them and gives roses to:

Reid
Kiptyn
Ed
Wes

Which means no more Michael and Jesse. Our little fire cracker and emotional ice cube say their goodbyes and depart. Jesse is deeply saddened and shocked, as is Michael, who can't stop raving about what a wonderful girl Jillian is, and how sad he is that he'll never see her again. It's really touching, to be honest. He's very sweet. But I'm sure he'll land on his feet. Breakdancers usually do.
