FINAL DAY:

Jillian doesn't want to let anyone go, but after a lot of deliberation and thought, she's now sure of whom she wants to marry.

Both men go to a specialty ring dealer to pick out engagement rings. Now Kiptyn and Ed both look certain that they want to propose to Jillian, and each chooses a ring to present to her.

[Cue montage of Ed and Kiptyn looking at their rings in romantic Hawaiian settings.]

Jill hopes she's making the right decision today. She "doesn't know how her heart is going to hold up" when she lets someone go.

They all get dressed in their Sunday finest, and get in limos to take them to the magical podium.

Ed: "I've never been this in love in my life. Every bone in my body is saying that she is perfect for me."
Kiptyn: "Today is not the end. It's the beginning of a life with Jillian."

Chris brings in Jill, tells her good luck, she goes out on her pedestal.

I look at the clock. There's still an hour left in this show. What drama awaits?

Rejection Time:
Jillian says she has to look into his eyes and tell him he's not the one. Who, you ask?

Outside, Chris greets... Kiptyn.

Kiptyn is nervous and excited. He tells her that his feelings are real. He sees kids and marriage with her, and he'd be the luckiest man to have that with her. "I love you and I want to spend this life with you."

kiptynfinale.jpgJill tells Kiptyn that he is all the things she's dreamed of, but she starts to cry and tells him shes in love with Ed. He says it hurts, but he's a "man who has get through it." He wants her to be happy. They hug, and Kiptyn says, "You're an incredible woman and Ed's a lucky man," before she puts him in the limo. It's hard to tell how much anguish and how much relief he's going through, but he admits this is the first time he's ever been heartbroken. He intended to bring out the ring, but never got a chance.

"The Twist"
Jill is expecting Ed to show up next, but a van pulls up, and... it's Reid. Jill is visibly stressed and shocked to see him.

Reid says what you'd expect him to say, though very sweetly: after Jillian dumped him, he realized what an idiot he was for not telling her how he felt, and wanted to win her back. He "pulled some strings" to come back and tell her he loves her. "You know what's going on here today, right?" she asks him, explaining that she's ready to marry someone else. He gets down on one knee and asks her to marry him, but she stands him back up and says she needs to think. She asks Reid to wait, and she goes inside to think. (And cry.)

What to do???
Hostman Chris comes by and helps Jillian get her head on straight: she's overwhelmed, but he reassures her that she knows deep down what to do. She wants to be with Ed. Jillian goes back to Reid and says, despite their strong connection, her heart belongs to Ed. Reid can't believe what's happening as she puts him back in the van. He was too late, and it's a shame, he sums up. That's about all there is to it.

After rejecting her second suitor of the day, distraught Jillian goes back out to her pedestal, hilariously vowing: "Ed better not f***-ing disappoint me today!" Even in that white dress, can you really blame her for that f-bomb right now?

The Final One
Now it's Ed's turn. Jill knows for sure now, 110%, that Ed is the person she wants to be with. She's ready to take the plunge, and so is Ed.

Ed arrives, and tells her that she's inspired him to change his life for the better. "Jillian, you may not know how much you have impacted me, how much you have changed me as a man and helped me reprioritize my life," Ed says. "You are everything I could ask for in a woman." He loves her, but before they can go further, he needs to know that she loves him.

Smiling, she replies, "There is no doubt in my mind that I am madly in love with you. I love you so much."

And so, down on one knee Ed goes.

"I want to be with you forever," Ed says, showing her the ring. "I want a family with you. I want you to give me a hard time when we're 80 years old. Jillian, will you marry me?"

She says yes. "Absolutely," in fact. Jillian gives Ed the final rose, and he piggy-backs her into the sunset.

So there you have it, folks. Whomever your favorite guy was (for Jillian, or for yourself) it's impossible to deny that Ed and Jillian look very much in love. Jill finally gets her happy ending! And so do we. Seriously... FINALLY!
