This season's Bachelorette, Jillian Harris--who will knock her pool of eligible bachelors down from 16 to 12 men tonight on The Bachelorette (8 PM, ABC)--stopped by Live with Regis and Kelly (with guest host Pat Sajak) this morning to chat about her experience so far looking for love on TV... and how her whole "be spontaneous" campaign with the guys may have backfired in Episode 2.

"The thing is, I kind of dug myself my own grave in front of these guys, because I told them that I'm fun and spontaneous, and do things... just be yourself, don't try to be perfect. So there was one guy who ran out on the beach in a speedo, which I think is kind of funny."


The guy in the speedo was Mike, the 28-year-old baseball camp owner from New York, and the stunt earned him a rose. But Brian, the 31-year-old IT consultant from Alabama, was not so lucky with his stripping shenanigans.

"Brian, you know, had to take it one step further," Harris went on, alluding to his naked dive in the Bachelorette pool before the second rose ceremony, during which she sent him packing.

"All the guys were trying to impress me, and I just thought, I need to set the precedent tonight and let him know that it was a little too far."

Filming has already wrapped on the reality show, but we still have many weeks to wait until we find out whom Harris will choose. Jillian was careful not to give anything away regarding which of the remaining 16 men will be her final choice (if any), but she did reveal that a whole lot of kissing went on during her search.

Ripa brought out a board showing all 16 men, asking the Bachelorette to mark the ones she'd made out with during tonight's Western-themed group date.

"I kissed Reid, and I kissed... Brad, and Mark. I mean, you might as well just put them all, I've kissed all of them!" Harris replied, laughing.

In the end, Harris remained optimistic about her experience as the Bachelorette, no matter the outcome.

"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. So if I never find love this time, then I'm back at the same place that I was before, and that was an incredible place."
