The drama continues!

A quick recap: during Monday night's Bachelorette episode contestant Jake Pavelka (right) returned after being eliminated to warn Jillian that fellow love-seeker Wes Hayden (left) already had a lover to go home to. Wes denied it. Jillian believed Wes and gave him a rose.

Wes has continued to deny the rumors, as well as accusing the show producers of taking quotes out of context and giving him a "bad edit."

Today, his accused girlfriend, Laurel Kagay, also denied Jake's claims.

Undeterred, today Jake stuck to his guns in a conference call with the media, saying, "I know 100 percent without a shadow of a doubt that he and Laurel are together."

What did Wes tell you?
The conversations that Wes and I had were not, 'Hey Jake, I got a girlfriend.' It was, 'Hey Jake, I got a girlfriend and I don't know what to do.' I said, 'Wes, are you in love with her?' I said, 'If you're not in love with her, you may fall in love with Jillian.' And, he said, 'No. Jillian is not the girl for me.' Wes was talking to me in the final episodes about going ahead and bowing out and getting out of the show. He had already gotten what he was looking for, to sell CDs.

How sure are you?
I know 100 percent without a shadow of a doubt that he and Laurel are together, and they were together during the show. I think it's all an act, and I think Laurel was in cahoots with him. I don't believe it. I know it. We had multiple conversations. It was a dialogue back and forth. He told me he loved her. And I said, 'Are you developing feelings for Jillian?' He said, 'She's just not the girl. I'm going to break her heart.' He said, 'I'm going to bow out when the time is right.'

Laurel's in cahoots with him?

Laurel was in cahoots with him. His biggest fear was he makes it far enough that they have to go behind closed doors [on an overnight date]. He was so worried about that because that wasn't going to be OK with Laurel, and this is the stuff that came out of his mouth. [Evidently] she's cleared [him] to kiss her.

What did Wes tell you about his girlfriend back home?
They had an agreement. They were going to keep their relationship on the back burner so he could go on [the show] and sell CDs. I said to him, 'What are you going to do when it comes to the final two and you go behind locked doors? Is that OK with Laurel?' Because obviously she's OK with him kissing on the show, but ..

Why Wes would confide in you if he had a hidden agenda?
People just felt comfortable talking to me. Wes was talking to me about bowing out and getting out of the show. He'd already gotten what he wanted, to sell CDs. ... The conversations I had with him were, 'Jake, I have a girlfriend, I don't know what to do.' He said, 'Jillian is not the girl for me.' Wes had feelings for someone at home. Wes was not even available to be on the show.

What was your reaction to Wes' confession?
I was disappointed. I was there for the right reasons. I think Wes was there to sell CDs.

Do you think the producers are giving Wes a "bad edit"?
The way people are coming across on this show, is how they really are. Those things were said. Wes said those things.

Was it your idea to go back to Jillian, or was it the producers'?
No, no, it was my idea. Because I saw that she was going down this road. I stood up at the rose ceremony and I said if I find out who this is, I'm going to out you.

Do you regret that decision?
Absolutely not. I think the world of her, and Wes had her snowed.

Which guy would you pick for Jillian?
If I had to vote, I'm hoping Kiptyn ... he's a solid guy. He's honest. I have a lot of respect for Kiptyn.
