Bibiana Julian has already moved on from her heartbreak on The Bachelor but the 30-year-old Bachelor Winter Games star can’t help but feel like she missed out on her first reality TV dating journey simply because of Arie Luyendyk Jr.

According to Bibiana, she didn’t watch previous seasons of The Bachelor before joining season 22— which she calls a “mistake.” And now that she has seen The Bachelor season 20, she couldn’t help but praise Ben Higgins

“One of my mistakes was not watching enough of The Bachelor before I actually jumped onto the season,” Bibiana told Ben and Ashley Iaconetti on their podcast Almost Famous. “So when you guys asked me my thoughts on Arie as the Bachelor, I really didn’t have a lot to say because I didn’t really know. So I went back and I watched some of your season, Ben. Just kind of, like, as a refresher. And you were such a good Bachelor!”

Ben didn’t exactly get his happy ending. As the Bachelor star, he told his final two women he was in love with them towards the finale. He ended up proposing to Lauren Bushnell but the engagement only lasted for a year. While Ben’s relationship didn’t end in marriage, Bibiana thinks highly of Ben for his ability to connect with women during his season.

“I feel like you just knew how to navigate your conversations, and even just saying goodbye to the women, you had much more to say, much more personal. I watched your Women Tell All, and you can tell that the women just wanted you to really be happy, and that shows a lot. It shows that you really took the time to listen; you navigated conversations very well throughout the dates,” she told Ben.

Ultimately, Bibiana couldn’t help but compare Ben and Arie.

“I personally feel victimized,” she told the podcast hosts. “That I didn’t get such a good Bachelor!”

Do you agree with Bibiana? Was Ben a better Bachelor than Arie?
