New Year's Eve is a time for celebration, reflection, and of course, new (or renewed) determination to make this coming year even better than the one before.

In other words, it's almost RESOLUTION time!

We here at BuddyTV are always striving to bring you even closer to the TV characters you know and love so well, so we personally spoke* with 20 of your favorites and found out: what do they resolve to do differently in 2010?

We also made some resolutions of our own, and hope you'll share yours with us.

Have a safe, healthy, happy, and TV-filled new year, from your buddies at BuddyTV.

*And by spoke, we mean we made everything up.

BuddyTV Editorial Staff New Year's Resolutions:

I resolve to create an eighth day of the week so the networks will make even more original programming, and I'll have enough time to watch it. --John Kubicek

I resolve to practice and master the art of patience while waiting for season 4 of Mad Men to begin. --Abbey Simmons

I resolve to watch every episode of The Wire, of which I have currently seen... (GASP!) none. --Meghan Carlson

I resolve to host a Glee-inspired karaoke extravaganza so I can finally showcase the hundreds of hours I have practiced by singing along with the soundtrack. --Kim Wetter

I resolve to stop watching so much Reality TV. Sure, the occasional guilty pleasure is fine, but it's no longer necessary to clutter my DVR with it. Maybe I'll let Twitter's trending topics decide... --Rachel Cameron
