It's not like I'm necessarily surprised that The Bachelor's Brad Womack didn't choose anyone, I just didn't think he had the balls to do it. He had to have looked at the last ten Bachelors before him and saw that none of the relationships worked out. Hmm, I wonder why that is. Maybe because you're transported into a fairytale for five weeks and then are hit with the harsh reality upon arriving home that every day isn't going to involve carriage rides.

On the season 11 finale of The Bachelor, Brad first dumped Jenni Croft, according to plan. Afterwards, though, he was supposed to propose to DeAnna Pappas. Right before, he decided that he wasn't going to go through with it and shocked producers, DeAnna, and viewers by getting rid of her, too. At the After The Final Rose special, he seemed mildly apologetic at best. In that moment, I truly thought he was a jerk. I still kind of do.

However, the fact that Brad didn't pick anyone gave the show an electric shock that it needed after so many years of the same thing happening. Boy meet girl, boy proposes to girl after 5 weeks, boy and girl pretend to be happy together, boy and girl call it off after a month or two. Oh, you mean Bachelor relationships aren't meant to last forever?
