On Monday night's episode of
The Bachelor,
Matt headed out for hometown dates with the remaining women. In Colorado, he met
Noelle's family, who asked him if he was falling in love with any of the women. Matt admitted that he was falling in love with more than one woman and even said that Noelle was one of them. However, at the rose ceremony, he felt like had cared more for other women and sent her home. Noelle seemed to understand, even to agree with him, and took the rejection well. Today, she spoke to the press in a conference call about her time on the show and with Matt.
On the call, Noelle told the press that getting on the show was pretty easy for her. "I was one of the last girls to be cast. I saw something online and it was a whirlwind," she said. As for what she did to get the casting director's attention, she admitted that she really didn't do anything. "I was myself and genuine. I didn't have any gimmicks, I was just me."
Noelle addressed the fact that Matt told her sister that he was falling in love with her. BuddyTV asked her if she thought that he said it because he truly meant it or because he felt pressured into giving an answer that would satisfy her family. After thinking about it for a minute, Noelle responded, "The one thing I can say about Matt is that he's genuine. He doesn't say things just to say them."
With only three girls left this season, has Matt made the right choices? Noelle isn't sure but has nothing but best wishes for him. "I would be happy for him, whoever he ends up with," she said. However, she admitted that she had no predictions about who Matt would choose. "Watching the show, I have no idea which direction he's going in. I thought I did when I was there."
In the end, Noelle understands why she wasn't chosen to continue on with Matt. Their connection came way too late and, Noelle said, she wasn't nearly as smitten as the rest of the girls. "I definitely would not use the word 'love'. It's way too soon," Noelle said, regarding Mat. "I developed feelings but it was a lot later than the other girls."
