Dirtbag.  Jerk.  Bastard.  These are just some of the names being given to Jason Mesnick, the seemingly nice single father who turned out to be arguably the most loathed Bachelor of all time.  In a nutshell, he proposed to Melissa Rycroft in the finale but broke up with her on national TV to get back with previously dumped Molly Malaney during the “After the Final Rose” special.  But viewers weren't the only ones shocked by this season's twist. The Bachelorette star Trista Sutter, who was an avid fan of The Bachelor this season, also couldn't believe how everything unfolded.

“I am still just blown away that anyone could do that. I mean, first of all, to propose to one person when you say you're in love with two people, that just seems not necessarily right to begin with,” Sutter said.  “I just feel horrible for Melissa.  No one deserves to go through what she went through.”
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

"He is obviously fickle," Sutter said of Jason, adding that she can't imagine Molly being able to look past his actions. "How can you trust him? I wouldn't trust what he is saying to me."

As for the rejected Melissa, Sutter believes that being dumped by Jason was “a blessing in disguise” and that she'll hopefully find someone who truly loves her, just like she did with husband Ryan, who remain the most successful coupling produced by the reality television series.

“I've spoken with Melissa. How could anyone do this?! I texted her last night and said, ‘I'm proud of the way you handled it.' She deserves so much better! Melissa hasn't been able to say anything about this until now, so I think she's relieved. I am happy she can finally move on. As far as I'm concerned, this is a blessing in disguise. Now she can find someone who truly loves her,” she said.
