The Bachelor: Updates on Last and Next Season
When agreeing to be on ABC's dating show The Bachelor, participants know they are about to lose quite a bit of privacy as the details of their dating are taped, broadcast and scrutinized by the audience. However, there are a few periods where they can count on avoiding the spotlight: once is during the initial filming, when ABC is keeping mum about who the new participants are, and once again after the show airs, when the participants are back in control, to some extent, of how much information they want to share with their fans.

Right now, the happy couple from the last season of The Bachelor Andy Baldwin and Tessa Horst – are keeping pretty quiet, but every once in a while, they give us a little scoop on how their post-show relationship is progressing. And this week, Andy shared some big news about what's happening next for the couple.

Andy attended an ABC party earlier this week – but without Tessa on his arm. Fans were concerned that maybe the two have actually broken up.

But not so, say Korbi Ghosh and Jennifer Godwin of E!Online. According to them, Andy said Tessa's absence was due to a happy development in their relationship. They say he told them Tessa's “scheduled move to be with him in Hawaii was happening the following day!” The two go on to say that Andy “seemed really excited.”

And for fans of The Bachelor show in general, we had our first sneak peek this week of the next season starting on September 24. E! also reported that the new Bachelor – who might have a foreign accent – was spotted filming a date out in San Francisco at the flagship Ghirardelli Chocolate Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop.

We still don't know who this mysterious, possibly foreign Bachelor is, as ABC is not yet releasing any information. As we get closer to the premiere, expect more details about the Bachelor and his ladies to appear.
