Here's what we do know about this season's Bachelor.  He's tall, dark, handsome, and British.  There's nothing American women love more than a hot guy with an accent.  Matt Grant is more than just good looks, though.  He received his B.A. in modern history and politics from Cambridge.  He's athletic and loves the outdoors.  Matt is also extremely close with his family and looking to start one of his own.  Two weeks from tonight, he'll meet the 25 participating women, one of whom could be his future wife.  Here are some more juicy details on the upcoming premiere of The Bachelor, season 12!

In the premiere, the 25 women show up for a fabulous party where they'll get to meet Matt and make their impression.  Of course, the "first impression rose" will make its return which puts the pressure on the ladies.  They'll do anything to get their hands on it and keep them safe from elimination.  One woman will challenge him to an arm wrestling contest while another reveals she comes from a very famous family.  That girl is none other than Shayne Lamas, as BuddyTV previously reported. 

At the end of the party, Matt sends 10 women home right then and there.  Before he does, he'll have to endure several desperate attempts to get his attention.  One woman sings, another plays an instruments, one chews through a can (we're not making this up), and another does something so shocking - you'll have to wait until the premiere to find out just what it was!  As the first night comes to a close, Matt is already convinced that his future wife is in the room.

This week, ABC is expected to release the list of women participating in this season of The Bachelor.  From the group, we can make our early seasons picks and try to figure out who was the lucky woman that captured Matt's heart.
