Something happens to women on
The Bachelor the minute they set their sights on the eligible man. Sure, there are some who manage to hold on to their dignity. Some play the shy card, some let the bachelor come to them, some just wait for the right moment. Then, there are the others. A few have burst into song, hoping to impress him with their vocal chops. A couple others show off strange talents and this season, one girl twists herself into a pretzel on the floor while another shows off her webbed toes. Another sneaks in a bikini on what should be a formal evening to show off what her mama gave her. Those who can remain genuine and true to themselves stand the best chance of making it the furthest. Here are some pre-season picks for the top five women that Brad will keep around on this season of
The Bachelor.
This season's bachelor Brad Womack made it clear he was looking for a woman to settle down with. In a recent press conference, he said that he had been looking for quite some time but just hadn't found the one. A bar owner in Texas, it seems he'd have his hands full but he swears he's in a different frame of mind when he's working. He did describe his perfect woman, though. "The ideal woman would be beautiful, takes care of herself, sweet, down to earth, very honest, and loyal. Just a beautiful girl next door type," he said. Based on that, here are some women who might fit that description.
ABC didn't give much to go off of. They recently revealed the 25 women who would be competing for Brad's heart. However, instead of full bios, only their ages, hometowns, and jobs were listed. I hope he likes realtors because I picked two for him, Bettina from Washington D.C. and DeAnna from Neunan, GA. If he's looking for a confident girl who can carry herself well, I recommend Jessica, a news anchor from Lady Lake, FL. Going off his attraction to the girl next door, McCarten seemed like a logical choice, an account manager from San Diego. Morgan could easily fall into the same category, a grad student from Tempe, AZ.
The new season starts this Monday with a special 90-minute premiere. We'll get to meet all the women as well as Brad and find out who the finalists will be. Post who you think is going to go far in the game and don't forget to check out the
