Jason Mesnick may have earned a bad reputation when it comes to love but he’s still a pretty good dad. The Bachelor star, who is still going strong with runner-up Molly Malaney by the way, is going to host a Father’s Day fun-athlon on Saturday, June 20, from 11am to 2pm, at Bellevue Downtown Park.

This should be an enjoyable affair for the whole family, according to the former Bachelor‘s website, Jason’s Place. Activities for dads and kids include a piggyback run and a gummy worm push-up contest, just to name a few. Moreover, there will be appearances by the Mariner Moose and players from the Seattle Seahawks, while free Nike gears will be given to the first 150 people to register at the event.

Mesnick, who has a son named Ty, has been busy with his non-profit project, Jason’s Place, ever since the 13th season of The Bachelor wrapped up. The site is “committed to engaging in modern approaches to meet the challenges faced throughout the United States to improve the lives of single parenting families.”

“Our hope is that, through our shared experiences as single parents, we will, together, create an invaluable place to learn, share, and hopefully, gain an even better appreciation for the greatest joys in our lives – our children,” the site added “Combining some expert advice, our community’s experience, and a very healthy dose of humor, Jason’s Place will be a destination for all of us to visit and to be reassured that, as single parents, we are never, ever on our own.”

As expected, Molly Malaney, whom Jason Mesnick chose after dumping winner Melissa Rycroft on national TV, will be joining the former Bachelor at the Father’s Day fun-athlon.
