Bachelor contestant Corrie Adamson may not have gotten much screen time, but she certainly made her mark on the show, and on Bachelor Jake Pavelka: first, by lampooning her fellow ladies at a comedy club group date, and later by revealing to Jake, and the nation, that she was saving herself for marriage.
Jake eliminated Corrie when he decided upon his final four this past Monday, with whom he will then travel to hometowns and meet their parents. But Corrie left the competition with "no regrets," confident that Jake isn't the guy for her, but happy she went and found out.
Corrie spoke with the media this morning about her
Bachelor experience. Below, check out her thoughts on Vienna, virginity, and more.
On the other girls left, specifically Vienna Girardi:
Do you think he has a really great connection with the girls he has left?
I think he had a really deep connection with Ali and Vienna. I think
that's clear on TV but it was also clear when we were there.
Can you weigh in on the Vienna issue?
Vienna has a big personality and so her personality clashed with a lot
of the other girls. I think some people thought she could be mean, but
I don't think she's mean-spirited. I think she's just young and
sometimes doesn't think before she speaks.
Is there anything Vienna did that irked you that wasn't on the show?
Vienna
talked bad about a lot of the girls in the beginning. So because of
that I tried to be careful around her. But overall, she's a funny girl.
She's a lot of fun and she didn't get on my nerves the way she did the
other girls.
What does Jake see in Vienna?
I think she makes Jake feel really young. She's a lot of fun. I think she probably makes him feel like a man.
Are you surprised by the recent revelations about Vienna [in Us Weekly magazine]?
I think a lot of that can be rumor and gossip. I just think when it
comes to that kind of stuff you have to take it with a grain of salt. I
think Vienna is a sweet girl. She doesn't have a malicious heart.
How do you feel about the rumor that Jake chooses Vienna in the finale?
You know, they had a strong connection and I wouldn't be surprised to see that. I will be surprised if they last. I just feel like they're... I don't know. Vienna is a lot of fun. I had
so much fun with her. She is a really fun girl. But as far as what Jake says
he's looking for, I just think they're very different.
What's your take on the Rozlyn situation?
I never saw anything inappropriate going on with Rozlyn and the
producer. They did develop a friendship and as far as inappropriate
goes, that's a matter of opinion, I didn't see anything inappropriate.
Chris Harrison only called it an "inappropriate relationship" which
could be taken a lot of ways. It could mean he shared insider
information, it could mean a kiss, it could mean sexual. In my opinion,
I didn't take it as sexual. I was shocked that she got sent home. I was
upset for her.
Who were your favorite three fellow bachelorettes?
Valishia, Ashleigh Hunt, and Gia.
On her final one-on-one date with Jake:
What happened on the boat?
In real life, the boat ride was not awkward. It was my favorite part of
the date. We laughed a lot and had fun. At the very end, there was a
moment when he might have kissed me. I'm a hard girl to read. I think
Jake didn't know if I wanted him to kiss me or not, but he had the perfect opportunity and he didn't take it.
If you had a do-over would you change anything?
There was a lot of time I spent with Jake that wasn't seen on TV.
Overall, in general, no. There isn't anything I would do too
differently. It's not my personality to really go after a guy. I let
them come after me.
It was very admirable for you to talk about your virginity on the show. Did you feel a change when you told Jake that?
Not necessarily. But I feel like in Jake's head, a little bit, he
associated that with me being young and not having life experiences.
That decision has nothing to do with my age. It isn't because I haven't
had opportunities, because I have. I think in his head he saw me
younger than I was before that.
In the previews you seemed upset about the conversation [about being a virgin].
The conversation didn't happen exactly the way you saw it on TV. We
weren't talking about living together [like it was edited on TV]. That
question came out of nowhere. It caught me so off-guard. That is
something that is really personal and it's not something I would
announce on a first date with guys. It did upset me, just because I
didn't feel it was the right timing to be having that conversation.
How did it come up?
He literally out of nowhere asked had I ever had a one-night stand and
I said no, and he said are you saving yourself for marriage and I said
yes.
Do you think you waited too long to kiss Jake and do you think that affected his decision to let you go?
It may have played into that. But no, that was mine and Jake's first
date. I wasn't about to kiss Jake on a group date when he was kissing
other girls before and after me.
On her opinion of Jake:
Do you think Jake was that much of a catch?
He'll be a catch for whoever he ends up with. He's a really nice guy. But you know ... he's not the guy for me.
Why?
You know ... um ... [long silence] I don't know. He, um, I'm just not,
um, I guess, I'm just very basic when it comes, you know, I don't even
know how to answer that. We just didn't click.
What were your feelings for Jake?
When I left, I felt very much like me and Jake had just had one date.
Our one-on-one date, to me, was very much a first date. So my feelings
for him were not extremely developed and I was behind the other girls
in that.
Do you think that Jake is a sensitive guy on the show and do you feel he cried too much on the show?
I'm a pretty emotional person and I cry pretty easily, so I can't be too judgmental in that department.
As a wardrobe consultant, do you have any advice for Jake?
Yeah, actually there is something I noticed. Sometimes his pants were just a quarter of an inch too short.
On her overall Bachelor experience:
Overall how do you feel about your experience?
It was the time of my life. I don't have any regrets. And I made some great friends through it.
Is it really possible to fall in love on one of these shows?
I definitely think that it's possible, if you have that really strong instant connection. For me personally I dont think that that it is possible, but I think for some people, it is.
If asked, would you come back and be the Bachelorette?
That would be a really big decision. If I didn't have time to think
about it, I'd have to say no. But you know, it's always a possibility I
guess. I don't think I'd be exciting enough for them.
