Tonight brings the season finale of
The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman. Will this be the last time we see
Andy Baldwin? No, because tomorrow (Tuesday, May 22) ABC has a special called The Bachelor: After the Final Rose. (Why are they putting that up against
American Idol’s finals? Why, to push their own
Dancing with the Stars results show out of Idol’s way, of course.)
But tonight, The Bachelor’s Andy goes home to Pennsylvania to seek guidance from his family. As well, both of the remaining women will get to meet his family.
Tessa gets to join them for lunch, then
Bevin for dinner. Will Andy’s family offer him more insight into either of them?
Next the three will return to Hawaii once again, for the final dates in Oahu. Bevin and Andy take a helicopter ride along the coast, then hike and picnic in the mountains. Andy and Tessa go horseback riding and then swim and “canoodle” in the ocean.
And then, of course, the final rose ceremony. It all ends in what ABC calls “a deeply romantic scene that could literally jump off of a movie screen” (though I have to question their understanding of the word “literally” here) in which Andy presents the final rose – and an engagement ring. This would probably be a more exciting announcement if andy hadn’t already announced the news in all the interviews he’s done about
The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman since before the show even premiered.
So who will it be – and why? Whether or not you’ve been avoiding the spoilers allegedly leaked by both
one of the remaining women and by
ABC themselves, we’d love to hear what you think. Should Andy choose Bevin Powers, or Tessa Horst? Here’s one more chance to share your
The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman predictions here on BuddyTV, by commenting below or in our forums.
