When Charlie O’Connell signed on to be The Bachelor in 2005, he was serious about finding love and he did in Sarah Brice, a nurse from Texas. Instead of proposing, as is usually done on The Bachelor, Charlie opted to give Sarah a promise ring instead. Two years after the show ended, their relationship did as well. "I definitely thought I'd spend the rest of my life with him -- I think we both did -- but there were some things between us that we couldn't resolve," Brice said in an interview with In Touch Weekly at the time of the split adding, "We still love each other a lot.” It appears the couple has come to a resolution about the issues that kept them apart for a year. The two have confirmed that they are back together and giving their relationship one more shot.

An inside told In Touch Weekly that the couple got back together over the summer and are even talking marriage. "I don't want to jinx it. But it's going great," O'Connell told the magazine. "We are taking it slow and not taking each other for granted this time. The future looks good!” Charlie went on to say that his brother Jerry and wife Rebecca Romijn are expecting twins soon, which has him thinking about a future with Sarah. “We did look at houses together last weekend. I’m not saying moving in isn’t a possibility.”

Sarah also couldn’t help but admit to In Touch that she and Charlie had gotten back together, telling them, "There must be something special between us, because we keep coming back to one another. I'm very happy." If Charlie and Sarah stay together, it will mark the first time a couple from The Bachelor or Bachelorette ended their relationship, then found their way back to each other to make things work.
