Brace yourself, America. The Bachelor
is casting for the next season. It…just…keeps…happening.
And of course, it's not just The Bachelor
– all reality shows are hot tickets right now. People have been waiting for years for the reality trend to die down. Anything is possible, but the writers' strike just reinforces how valuable reality programming is to the networks. It's the fast food of the TV world: cheap, quick and people gobble it up. Reality haters might want to prepare themselves for the idea that reality shows might now be a permanent fixture on the TV landscape, like a sitcom, soap opera or police drama.
But back to The Bachelor
. Casting has already started across the country as we enter in the final weeks of the current season with Brad Womack
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
If you live in Boston, you can head out to Felt tomorrow from 3pm to 7pm or Sunday from 3pm to 6pm to see about getting on the show. Charlotte, NC, will be holding auditions Saturday, at Cans Bar and Canteen from 7pm to 9pm; Monday, November 12 from 5pm to 9pm, and Thursday, November 15, from 9pm to midnight for all you night owls. Scottsdale, AZ ladies have a crack at the producers this weekend, too, on Saturday from 8pm to 11pm at Martini Ranch. (Having grown up in Scottsdale, I can say with authority that it is the ideal place to hold The Bachelor
casting; the women there have the aesthetic nailed.)
And if you happen to be in Austin and reading this today, Friday November 9, you still have time to flat-iron your hair and throw on a pair of strappy sandals and get yourself on over to The Marq, where, the website states, not only will you have the chance to audition, but you can meet Bachelor
Brad! That will be going on tonight from 6pm to 9pm.
There are more locations listed with castings this weekend and next week on the casting website, thebachelor.warnerbros.com/open_calls.html. If you go, you absolutely must come back here and tell us in the comments what it was like!
