The Bachelor: Bevin Powers' Thoughts About Brad Womack
Brad Womack did not win a whole heck of a lot of fans on The Bachelor when he opted to move forward with a relationship with neither Jenni Croft nor DeAnna Pappas. He did, however, impress at least two women from another season of The Bachelor.

We've already noted how Kate Brockhouse backed up Brad's post-finale account of the show via Ellen DeGeneres's program. And now another one of the bloggin' ladies of The Bachelor has weighed in with her thoughts on Brad and his decision.

Bevin Powers, who has been a member of that “Final Two” club herself, wrote about her perspective on the surprising end to this past season.

She wrote, “[M]aybe Brad did the smartest thing? Stop the acting and reject the pressure to choose between 2 women you hardly know. I have to take my hat off to a man who is willing to admit that he was doing what was the best for him and following his ‘not in-love' heart. Brad even admitted on the [After the Final Rose] that he had ‘issues'. Kudos Brad! It takes a real man to acknowledge ‘hey, I have hang-ups and I'm going to work on them.'”

Just because she feels positively about this Bachelor doesn't mean that Bevin doesn't have empathy for Jenni and DeAnna went through as well. “It was sad to watch the 2 final women go through what I had experienced just 8 months ago…When a man is saying such nice, sweet things to you and in my case claiming he loves you, then turns you away…it's devastating. You seem foolish, naïve, and manipulated. The emotions are real for them and they have every right to be hurt, angry and frustrated that their emotions were used.”

But – not surprisingly, as there seems to be a real anger towards the show from several of the women who have appeared on The Bachelor – Bevin is pretty clear on where she thinks DeAnna's and Jenni's bad feelings should be directed.

“One thing the women, Jenni and DeAnna (including myself), must remember is that Brad was pressured into leading them on. If he didn't have feelings for any of the women on the show there would be no show. I'm sure he did care for them just like Andy [Baldwin] cared for me but it plain and simply falls short of those feelings you need to commit a life time together…If anyone should take the blame it's the show.”

She ends with some positive thoughts about the stars of this most recent season. “I hope that [Jenni and DeAnna] can look back on the experience and be thankful for the good times and learn from the bad. Both women have bright futures and will find their prince charming. As for Brad, I pray the public recognition doesn't entice him to act foolish like past bachelors.”
