On Monday night’s episode of The Bachelor, Matt chose to eliminate Holly, Ashlee, and Kelly. He didn’t feel that he had a connection with Holly, Ashlee seemed too focused on her music and not on him, and Kelly as a bit too wild for the Brit’s taste. Ashlee, the 22 year old singer/songwriter from Florida, didn’t earn many friends when she threw her connection with Matt in the faces of the girls she was competing against. Today, she participated in a conference call with the media to talk about how she felt when she was dumped on national television and who she thinks Matt will end up with.

When Ashlee watched the episodes of The Bachelor, she was a bit surprised to see what the other girls had to say about her. "Oh yeah, of course I was surprised because you get to know all these people and you see them saying little comments here & there,” she said. “I just took it all in stride. I think Chelsea said a couple things that I didn't think were very nice.” She weighed in on Robin, the one that all the other girls seem to hate. Ashlee chose her words carefully when giving her opinion on public enemy number one. "There are some good things about her but there are good things about everyone,” she told BuddyTV.

Ashlee became known as this season’s singer, writing songs for every occasion from meeting Matt to falling for him to getting eliminated. Yet, perhaps Matt might the right decision sending her home. She told BuddyTV today that she would not be able to necessarily put him over her career. “I think that music is always going to be who I am,” she said. “I don't think I would've been able to put it above. It would have been equal."

There are only six girls left, battling it out for Matt’s heart. Though it seems that Robin and Shayne are the frontrunners, Ashlee had a different take. “"I felt the entire time, from the very beginning, that it was going to be Amanda,” she told the press of who she expected to see at the final rose ceremony. As for who is best for Matt, she had a simple answer: “I thought I was!” she laughed. “I couldn't see him with anybody else but me. Apparently, I was wrong." She will continue to write music and says she has written new material inspired by Matt. The name of her song? Waste of Time.
