This Monday, The Bachelor kicks off its 12th season with Matt Grant, a 27 year old financier from London. In the premiere episode, Matt moves into his Malibu bachelor pad and prepares to meet 25 beautiful women. After introduces are made, drinks are had, and people get to know each other, Matt will have the difficult task of cutting the 25 women down to a final 15. Here is a look at the women who will fight for those coveted roses this season.

Alyssa, 24, is a biology student from Boise, ID. Amanda P., 26, is a law student from Las Vegas, NV. The Bachelor promises us that this All-American girl has some tricks up her sleeve this season. Amanda R., 27, is an account executive from Niceville, FL. Amy, 22, is a nanny from Stockton, CA. Ashlee, 22, is a singer/songwriter from Jacksonville Beach, FL. She takes the spotlight away from the other girls when she sings Matt a song that she wrote just for him.


Carri, 25, is a church marketing representative from Oklahoma City, OK. Not to be outdone by any singer, Carri chews through a tin can. It will be interesting to see Matt's reaction to this strange talent. Chelsea, 24, is a pharmaceutical sales representative from Durango, CO. She catches Matt's eye when she playfully challenges him to an arm wrestling match minutes after meeting him. Denise, 30, is a former Bush aide from Washington, D.C.


Devon, 24, is a makeup artist from Austin, TX. Erin H., 25, is an event planner from Seattle, WA. Erin S., 33, is a hot dog vendor from Venice, CA. Holly, 25, is a children's book author from Suffield, OH. Kelly, 24, is a medical sales representative from San Diego, CA. She is described as an outspoken girl with a wild side. Kristine, 32, is a personal trainer from Charlotte, NC.


Lesley, 23, is a youth minister from Tampa, FL. Marshana, 27, is a fashion designer from Brooklyn, NY. In the season premiere, she impresses Matt right off the bat by wearing a beautiful sari-inspired dress that she made by hand. Michelle P., 28, is an administrative assistant from Syracuse, NY. Michele R., 33, is an interior designer from Laguna Niguel, CA.


Noelle, 26, is a photographer from Loveland, CO. Rebecca, 30, is an attorney from Alamo, CA. Robin, 22, is an advertising coordinator from Holland, MI. She seems to be this season's bad girl, as ABC described her as “the know it all that everyone loves to hate”. Shayne, 22, is an actress from Malibu, CA. She reveals to Matt that she is a soap opera actress with a famous family.


Stacey, 26, is a graduate student from Chicago, IL. She shocks everyone when she removes her underwear and slips it into Matt's pocket in the middle of their party. Guess we know where she stands! Tamara, 23, is a cocktail waitress from Beverly Hills, CA. Last but not least is Tiffany, 33, is a real estate marketing representative from San Francisco, CA.


This week, we'll make some pre-season picks.  Who will make it far in the game?  Who will go home first?  Can we judge these women based on looks, occupation, and location alone?  We'll find out.  Post your thoughts as well and help figure out who Matt will choose ... or send home crying!
