Last night's "After the Final Rose" special promised fans of
The Bachelor answers to all our questions: Why didn't
Brad Womack make a decision? Why did he even buy a ring? Has he changed his mind about Jenni or DeAnna after the finale? Unfortunately, we didn't get very many answers to our questions, except that Brad stands by his decision not to propose to DeAnna. BuddyTV readers wasted no time in continuing their campaign of hate against the bachelor du jour. Well, mostly. There are a few on his camp sprinkled in here and there. Read on to see what everyone has to say about
The Bachelor.
First, let's start with the Brad-haters, as they are legion.
BabyLate thought that Brad Womack "is completely unaware, self-absorbed JERK!"
leleana agreed and is also frustrated that he "doesn't even ATTEMPT to explain his thought process. Everything he said either contradicted what he'd said earlier or was refuted by something Jenni and DeAnna said."
gnaty wanted to know: "Why did it have to be all or nothing for Brad? Why couldn't he have continued to date ONE girl? Then see where it goes from there. I don't think he was being completely honest with his reasons as to why he didn't choose DeAnna."
cherylb wrote that Brad needs serious therapy and suggested that we all "boycott his bars ie: the Dizzy Rooster and the Chugging Monkey. That's the least that he deserves." But
civilwar thought that, more than therapy, [Brad] needs GOD in his life. The girls will move on and find some very loving, deserving man to fulfill their dreams and lives. GOD has something better in store for them."
However, let's hear from the pro-Brad camp now.
AlltheRightReasons doesn't blame him "for not making a decision. perhaps he should've taken a chance and maybe dated either Jenni or DeAnna, but if he felt it was unfair to both of them, which it was, then he shouldn't have to be condemned for it."
LizzieB agreed: "Why does Brad HAVE to choose someone. I give him credit for not picking someone just to save face. He obviously doesn't like either girl so why does he HAVE to continue to date one of them?"
jcg716 wrote, "I don't necessarily agree with what he did but if he truly had genuine feelings for both girls, he did do the honorable thing by walking away."
Still other readers, like
squarepeg, saved the bulk of their wrath on
The Bachelor's producers. However, one reader had a solution to this mess.
angelhrt1971 said: "I say bring back
The Bachelorette- then maybe we will have a happy ending like the 1st time. DeAnna should be the next bachelorette so she can choose from 25 men."
