Putting a Ring on ItMr. Neil Lane himself totes over some engagement rings for Jake to choose from.
As Jake ponders some diamonds, he admits to Neil that he doesn't even know to whom he's proposing. "Wow." But at least he knows what kind of diamonds each woman likes: Vienna likes princess cut, while Tenley likes round diamonds.
"The rings almost made it more confusing."
"I'm trying to let my heart lead, but it's leading me to both women."
Those are the words of a man ready to get married!
The Final Rose CeremonyTenley and Vienna prepare, emotionally and physically, for the final rose ceremony, but neither is prepared for Jake to reject her.
Tenley wears a gorgeous gold strapless gown, and hopes Jake will be her teammate for life. Vienna is in a one-shoulder turquoise Grecian gown, and says it's the most important day of her life, and she's terrified.

Each woman rides in a a helicopter to the final rose ceremony location. Jake stands at his mark, looking stressed, and says he "knows what he's doing is right." (Really? Because five minutes ago you said you had no idea what to do!)
The First Arrival: Tenley
You know what
that means. Heartbreak City, population: poor little Tenley.
Tenley feels joyful, blissful, and at ease as she thinks about Jake. She trusts him with her heart. Whereas he is dreading what he's about to do: taking her heart and stomping all over it on national TV.
Jake greets Tenley, and... he's not a good liar, in case you couldn't tell this season. He looks down as he fights off tears and says everything he loves about her. "I do love you. You're just perfect."

He's not fighting off the tears anymore as he tells her that "something just doesn't feel right. I don't know why."
Tenley starts to cry, and she says she appreciates his honesty as much as it hurts. "I don't know what you think is missing. But thank you for showing me what I could have."
This is painfully, sincerely heartbreaking. Just how
resigned she is to it. She's not sad that she gave her heart to Jake, she says. "Thank you for making me feel special," she tells him.
They hug. Jake weeps.
He walks her out. They hug again on the stairwell. He says there is a part of him that doesn't feel natural with her, and she says she doesn't want to be that person who holds him back.
Tenley manages to put a positive spin on the whole situation, and thanks Jake for showing her she could fall in love again. She leaves in quite possibly the most triumphant rejection The Bachelor has ever seen, while Jake sobs over a balcony. In the car, though, she says she's heartbroken, and she can only hope that she can find true happiness in the future. "I don't think he knows what he wants." But even though she lost Jake, she found herself. (Awww!)
She's a bigger woman than I am. I would have whispered into his ear, "Enjoy your Hooters waitress." And enjoy her HE SHALL!
The Second Arrival: ViennaWe all know what happens now. "The greatest part about a hard choice is the outcome," says Jake, capping off his season of unparalleled wisdom.
Vienna walks the long bridge to Jake, and as she walks, she says she hopes Jake is her Prince Charming. "If Jake tells me I'm not the one, I'm going to be completely lost. Because when I found him, I found myself." Stitch that on a pillow and sit on it!
Jake says Vienna is an "amazing woman," but there is something she needs to have: her promise ring. He holds it up, and says she needs to have it. (Don't know why. He doesn't say. It's just a needlessly cruel ploy to make her feel rejected. That Jake. What a keeper!)
There's something else, though: "Vienna, I love you."

He gets down on one knee and holds up a ring. "Will you marry me?"
"Yes, yes!"
(A thousand times, YES!)Cue the smooth piano intro, because it's time for a MONTAGE! "On the Wings of Love" plays as we relive Jake and Vienna's best
moments make-outs.
The song crescendos as Jake hands Vienna the final rose. (So
this is what it feels like to die! I always wondered.)
