Bachelor in Paradise star Corinne Olympios just confirmed a rumor about her past. The 26-year-old reality star, who first competed for Nick Viall's heart on The Bachelor, admitted that she got engaged to her longtime boyfriend after she was sent home from season 21.
"A lot of people don't know this. It was exactly a year ago. Literally yesterday I got engaged last year," The Bachelor
alum, who filmed the show in the fall of 2016, said on The Morning Breath
. "I got home and he showed up at my house with a ring. I gave it back. I could never keep something like that."
"So I removed two tattoos that I had, because I was engaged to a very religious guy," she added. "And he was like, 'I can't marry you if you have tattoos.' [So I] got them removed. Then we broke off the engagement."
At present, Olympios is seeing someone though she doesn't want to reveal his identity. One thing she can say reveal is that he's not someone from the Bachelor franchise.
"I really just want to meet someone organically," said Olympios, adding that she doesn't use any dating apps.
In another interview with Us Weekly
, the reality star also shared what she wants in a boyfriend.
"I just want a guy that will check in with me even when he's having a super busy day, [a guy with] a good job [who] has his shit together ... and just [gives off] good vibes," she explained. "I don't like people that are cocky. I have come across so many guys that are just way too into themselves and it is such a turn-off."
Olympios, who was involved in a scandal in the fourth season of Bachelor in Paradise following her Bachelor stint, is working on several TV projects, including a scripted series which revolves around the millennia dating scene.
