Not everyone is a fan of Bachelor
star Arie Luyekdyk Jr., including former Bachelorette
star Jef Holm, who took to social media to slam his former pal during Monday night's season 22 premiere. However, the 36-year-old race car driver isn't bothered by Holm's digs.
"Doesn't matter who gets out of the limo...I'll give 5k to the charity of @chrisbharrison's choice if @ariejr lasts 1 year with anyone," Holm tweeted during the season premiere, suggesting that Luyendyk Jr. won't find his happy ending with any of his 29 contestants.
This isn't the first time Holm threw shade on Luyendyk Jr. Last September, he called Luyendyk "disgusting" in response to a comment made by a follower (suggesting that Luyendyk has a habit of hooking up with college girls) which Reality Steve posted. Both Holm and Luyendyk competed for Emily Maynard on The Bachelorette season eight and became close after the show. It's unclear what caused the feud.
When Access Live's Natalie Morales and Kit Hoover asked why Holm is "so bitter" towards him, Luyendyk Jr. said, "I have no clue. That's kind of a question for him more than me." He did admitted that Holm is "throwing a lot of shade, but we haven't talked in four years since Sean [Lowe's] wedding."
"I have so much to concentrate on with this and I'm just trying to stay positive," he added. "I'm just concentrating on me."
What do you think caused the rift between Holm and Luyendyk?
