ABC has announced that Bachelor stars Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney will wed on March 8, and the ceremony will air in a two-hour special on the network.

Not since Bachelorette Trista Rehn wed Ryan Sutter in 2002 has the show, currently in its nineteenth season (and fourteenth Bachelor) resulted in a televised wedding. Jason is the first Bachelor to walk down the aisle with a contestant from the show.

Mesnick and Malaney's two-hour special will likely revisit their rocky romantic beginning: as you'll recall, at the end of Jason's Bachelor run, he proposed to Melissa Rycroft, only to break it off and ask Malaney, the runner-up, for another chance. Since then, Molly moved to Kirkland, WA to be with Mesnick, and they were engaged in New Zealand this past October.

During the March 8 special, set to air one week after current Bachelor Jake Pavelka makes his final choice on TV, viewers will get to peek into wedding details including the bride's dress fitting, event planning, bachelor and bachelorette parties for Jason and Molly, and the ceremony.

Other familiar faces from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are reportedly on the guest list. We're hoping that includes Bachelorette Jillian Harris and her pick, Ed Swiderski, who may soon be heading down the aisle as well.

Mesnick is a buddy here at BuddyTV, having provided his expertise as our TV Love Doctor (videos below!) on more than one occasion, so we wish him all the best and can't wait to watch.

The question is: will you watch Jason and Molly tie the knot on TV?
