After three seasons of The Celebrity Apprentice, Donald Trump is switching things up and going old school Apprentice-style. However, in this the 10th season of The Apprentice, there is a twist! Instead of having d-list celebrities and eager young professionals as contestants, Trump is smiling upon victims of the recession. This season it's all about second chances.
Tonight, sixteen candidates will bust their butts to prove to Trump that they have what it takes to become the next Apprentice. As usual, candidates will compete in a 13-week job interview, and try to avoid hearing Trump declare his now trademarked catchphrase: "You're Fired!"
I'm excited to see The Apprentice get back to its roots. The show has
cast some remarkably likable contestants this season which is more than I
can say about seasons past. But this is The Apprentice we are talking about, so don't worry: there is plenty of Type A personality to go around.
After watching the videos below and researching this season, I had to remind myself that at one time The
Apprentice was an insanely watchable show. This time the
spin on the series is timely and surprisingly touching. But it also means that this job could mean more to these contestants than any season before. This season should be exciting because from what I could gather from the video below, it looks like Trump is ticked off at this recession. As always, Trump is his best advertiser, and he doesn't disappoint when he says in the video below: "I hate what I'm seeing, and I am going to do something about it!"
Check out these videos and get ready for tonight's boardroom.
