The Celebrity Apprentice: Episode 7 Recap

It was the Piers Morgan and Omarosa show again tonight which, you know, is fine by me.  The Apprentice thrives on the contestants mixing it up with each other and, really, that's the only reason that Omarosa is on the show.  I don't often get angry with people on reality shows, but some of Omarosa's behavior tonight was downright offensive.  I know there are legions of Omarosa apologists out there, but I don't know how you can defend her after tonights episode.  Tonight on The Celebrity Apprentice, the teams sold carriage rides in Central Park.

The episode opens with Piers and the Hydra boys reveling in their victory as the ladies are in the boardroom.  Piers hates, hates, hates Omarosa.  Omarosa claims that she's always in control of her team.  Whatever.

Trump calls everyone into the boardroom immediately.  Trump tells everyone that they're changing up the teams. Lennox isn't happy with this.  The new teams are as follows.  Lennox   Tito Ortiz, Trace Adkins, Marilu Henner, and Stephen Baldwin on one team, with Piers Morgan, Lennox Lewis, Carol Alt and Omarosa on the other.  This means, of course, that Piers and Omarosa have cruelly been placed on the same squad.  Things will get ugly.

Trump announces the new task.  The teams are going to Central Park and will try and sell horse and carriage rides.  Each team gets three horses and three carriages.  The going rate is $34, but Trump wants the teams to get much more than that.  Simple: whoever earns the most money in the given time wins.

Trace decides to take over Project Manager for his team.  Stephen gets brother Billy on the phone – he'll be coming down for a carriage ride.  Piers takes over PM for the new Hydra team.  Omarosa and Piers call a momentary truce.  Everyone hits the phones.  Piers, smartly, lays out what he will do if they lose and have to ho to the board room – he will say that whoever raised the least amount of money will get his endorsement for firing.

Hydra heads out to Central Park.  Piers gets upset when Omarosa spells his name wrong.  Omarosa gets pissed off when Piers gets mildly perturbed.  She starts calling him names and then she goes below the belt.  She says that his family hates him.  His kids hate him.  Omarosa seems pretty happy that she's gotten personal.  It's actually quite disgusting.  Piers is obviously upset about this.  When Piers leaves, Omarosa is pleased with herself.  Unbelievable.

Empresario heads to the site.  On their way, they pick up some roses and champagne.  The teams are actually set up right next to each other.  Trace and Tito are pretty pumped about their team.  Trace loves Tito, Marilu and Stephen's sales abilities.

Piers tries to fire Omarosa.  This makes Omarosa flip out and act like a little girl.  “I ain't goin' nowhere, son!” says Omarosa.  Good god.  Piers suspects that Omarosa now just wants to sabotage the whole thing.

Billy Baldwin shows up.  Hooray.  Marilu tries to bribe some randoms into paying a lot of money to ride with Billy.  Piers had about five of his contacts show up, all paying a ton of money.  Piers has the great idea of withholding carriages.  Omarosa, though, decides to try and sell tickets to bystanders anyway.  She's being ridiculous.  Empresario seems to be doing well – they're getting a lot of random people to buy rides.  Tito's girlfriend, ex-porn star Jenna Jameson, shows up and pledges $1,000.  They take a ride together.  Lennox picks up $1,000 and one of Carol's shows up and give $5,000.  Ivanka shows up and is disappointed with Hydra.

John Rich from the band Big and Rich shows up and gives Empresario $5,000.  Nice pull.  Trace Adkins is really happy with his team and doesn't think they could have done any better.  Omarosa continues her rampage.  Hydra has three big ticket people coming, but all three may be late.

The task is over and the teams enter the boardroom to hear the results.  At the boardroom, Piers really takes it to Omarosa, as he should.  He takes big offense to Omarosa bring Piers' kids into the argument.  Empresario made $23,000 and Hydra made $34,000.  Piers' charity makes $65,000.  Trump decides to put Omarosa on the other team, effective after this boardroom.

Trump doesn't like being in this position.  He's going to hate firing any of these people.  Trace can't say a bad thing about anyone on his team.  Stephen can't say who did the worst job on the team.  Marilu can't answer the question and neither can Marilu.  George says this is the toughest decision Trump will ever make.  Trump has nothing to go on.

Trump decides to fire no one.  It's the first time he's ever done this.  Wow.
