The Apprentice: Celebrity Edition - Preview Clips

OK, so maybe now I'm on board.  What we have for you today is a three and a half minute video containing various unedited clips from The Apprentice: Celebrity Edition and the footage is more than I had bargained for.  It makes sense, the pure madness of what we are getting into with Celebrity ApprenticeDonald Trump and Ben Silverman knew what they were doing with Celebrity Apprentice, even if their casting was shameless.  I was pretty perturbed by the casting of Apprentice alumni Omarosa, because she's not a celebrity, but after viewing the clip, I recant – she was an evil necessity.  It appears that all of the celebrities were fully invested in the competition, which could have been an issue on the show.  Overall, it looks like a train wreck of fun waiting to happen.  Check out the video below.

- Omarosa vs. Piers Morgan is going to be fun.  Omarosa is just a caricature of herself at this point, right?  Pouring champagne over Piers' head?  Really?  I also love how she calls him “PM.”  She is so despicable.  It's great.

- Stephen Baldwin is a ridiculous character who is made even more ridiculous after he recently found god.  The large cross, the maniacal smile, the uber-seriousness of his demeanor - reality TV gold.

- How weird was that opening scene with New York City mayor Mike Bloomberg?  The mayor of New York makes an appearance at a celebrity hot dog stand and Baldwin refuses to shake his hand, citing health code statutes.  Insanity.  Add to that former UFC champion Tito Ortiz and former heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis sparring on the streets and you're in a circus.

- I love how Vincent Pastore threatened to whack Stephen Baldwin, then said that the other Baldwin brothers would not be able to save him this time.

- It looks like it's guys against girls.  I have a feeling Gene Simmons is going to talk a lot of smack.

The Celebrity Apprentice premieres Thursday, January 2 at 9pm on NBC.
