Jose "Pepi" Diaz came from Miami, Florida. He graduated from the University of Miami where he was recognized as "Florida College Student of the Year". He also attended Columbia Law School where he received many honors. In addition, he already traveled to many places in the world and participated in study trips in France, Greece and Argentina.

Jose was cast on The Apprentice season 5 as one of the contestants. He was part of the team synergy and was fired on week 2.
