Donald Trump makes an announcement about how in business, you have to deal with people you don't like all the time. Thanks Donald. Clint Black grabs Jesse's photo and starts doing his own thing. Joan and Jesse say that they like a black background and Clint ignores them. Joan Rivers says she gives Clint his ideas and lets him screw it up all on his own. Jesse James starts ignoring Clint completely. Joan Rivers says Clint would give himself a hickey, which is funny but she notes that Jesse needs to start working with his team.
David Lee comes by Athena first. Brande Roderick notes that he's cute. Brande takes over the photo shoot halfway through. Annie Duke tells Melissa Rivers that she feels like Brande used everything of hers. She claims that she was just trying to get on Melissa's good side again. Melissa eats it up.
On Kotu, Clint takes control of the photo shoot. They shoot David Lee in a Right Guard jersey, which is so cheesy. Jesse James says that he knows Clint will never listen to him but he hates losing. At the end of their photo shoot, Annie Duke peeks her head in. Joan Rivers gets really pissed off because she knows she's snooping. She calls her the devil and then Jesse says, "I thought she was Hitler" and Joan says, "I don't want to insult Hitler." Jesse finally speaks up to Clint and tells him that the ad sucks. Clint wants his input on Clint's ad and Jesse says he should delete it. Jesse refuses to help. They continue to argue about Clint's stupidity for a while. Or rather, Jesse just rants about how Clint Black has no idea what he's doing.
Jim Kramer walks in to check on Athena. They tell him they know they're going to win. Annie goes off on how well she did everything. Melissa Rivers tells the group they need to present themselves as equals.
Donald Trump tells us passion is important in business. Thanks Donald.
Kotu comes in to present first. Clint Black presents for his team. You can see that all the ideas were actually Clint's. Also, why doesn't Joan do the presentation? Annie Duke does in to present Athena's idea. Melissa says that Annie's presentation was horrible. I think it's fine. Although, the last page does include the star, David Lee, which probably isn't good.
Donald Trump comes to sit down with the executives. They said they liked both teams. They liked that Kotu used the orange. They didn't like that Kotu didn't use a Knick's jersey. They liked Kotu's visual impact but thought they got the order wrong in their ads.
In the boardroom, Athena presents their unified front at first. Jesse James tells Donald Trump that they don't have much of a team. Jesse says that Clint is too obsessed with being "The Guy" and says that he owns a magazine and Clint should have listened to him. Clint Black tells Donald Trump that he didn't want to use 100% of Jesse's idea and that's why he's upset. Joan says that they were so at odds with one another that it was hard to be a team player. She then says that Clint has changed as much as he can change without deep therapy.
When Annie says that David Lee is a friend of her, Joan Rivers rolls her eyes and then goes off on how Annie thinks she knows everything. Melissa actually tries to shut Joan up but Joan is just getting started. Annie Duke says that they worked well together. Annie says that she shouldn't be fired because she did a lot of the work. Brande admits to giving Annie a lot of the work. Ivanka points out that Brande delegated out all the important tasks. Melissa says she felt boxed out. Joan says Annie plays people like a deck of cards. Annie says she thinks she could beat Melissa better.
Jim and Ivanka show the other teams' ads. Jesse admits that his team's ads are better. Donald Trump announces that Kotu won. Jesse congratulates Clint Black after some coercing by Donald Trump. The women make friends outside the boardroom that won't last long when they get back in there. Kotu goes upstairs and Joan gives Clint a glass of champagne.
Jim thinks Brande should go. Ivanka think Annie and Melissa are more at risk due to their tempers. When they comes back in, Brande notes that she raised the second most money out of everyone next to Annie. Donald Trump asks her if she can rely on her beauty and she says she can't because has to work harder to prove that she's smart. Joan Rivers says that she's stupid while watching the feed. Brande says she would fire Melissa because Melissa is too personal and she has to spend time assuaging her emotional concerns. Jim says she lacks passion in her answers. Brande raises her voice at Jim and tells him she'll bring more money than anyone if she stays and that shuts him up.
Melissa Rivers claims that she has outworked everyone in the game. She interrupts Donald Trump. He writes a note and gives it to Jim. He gives a nod and they are clearly not listening to the women argue. Jim says he'd fire Melissa if Joan does quit. Melissa says she did great but they tell her she just didn't raise enough money compared to the other two girls. They all agree they left the two strongest. Joan Rivers freaks out and says, "You have a Nazi and a follower" and then quits. Melissa calls them "whore pit vipers." Melissa literally runs out and refuses to do an exit interview. Joan lays into Brande and Brande yells back. Joan then tries to tell everyone Brande only cares about money and that Annie's people give money with blood on it and that poker players are trash. This is the freakout of the century. Donald, Jim and Ivanka can hear Melissa screaming in the hallway. She just keeps calling Brande and Annie lying whores. Joan walks out with her and that's it.
Next week on The Celebrity Apprentice, Joan Rivers may or may not have quit.
