Yesterday
we told you that the new season of
The Celebrity Apprentice begins filming next week in New York. Part of the cast has leaked and we found out that
Mark McGrath,
La Toya Jackson and
Star Jones will all be vying for Trumps approval and to win their charities some sweet cash.
Well now
TMZ is reporting four more celebrities that have been cast to compete (for relevance again) on
The Celebrity Apprentice. Trump has smiled upon: crunk fueled rapper
Lil John; former MLB star (and admitted roider)
Jose Canseco; supermodel
Niki Taylor; and the original
Survivor winner
Richard Hatch.
Wait a minute. Richard Hatch? The guy who served a prison sentence because of tax evasion? Is this really a person Trump wants as his next Apprentice? Well, I don't really care because Richard Hatch makes for great TV, and he is one of the great schemers in reality TV history. Although I'm pretty sure he'll have to keep his cloths on in this game. I wonder who his charity will be; can he pick himself?
Richard Hatch is definitely one of the most recognizable
Survivor winners/contestants, but I was really hoping NBC would try and milk Russell Hantz for another shot at getting second place. Can you imagine Russell in some of the challenges?
Anyway as I predicted yesterday
The Celebrity Apprentice always casts a (screw up) athlete. Jose Canseco used to play ball, but he is most recently remembered for writing the steroid expose
Juiced, in which he sold out his teammates. I'm pretty sure Trump doesn't want a tattle tale as his Apprentice.
Lil John is an interesting choice. Out of the six people chosen so far, Lil John clearly is the most relevant. The man behind one word hits like "Yeah!," "What?," and "Okay!" is probably the most currently successful member of the cast so far. Although I'm not sure what
The Celebrity Apprentice does for your street cred in the rap community? Lil John could take a big hit.
Stay tuned to BuddyTV to find out who rounds
The Celebrity Apprentice cast. As soon as we find out we'll let you know. In the meantime, what do you think about the cast so far? Sound off below.
