Tyler Denk and James Branaman
were best known as reality TV stars and hailed winners of the show The Amazing Race
season 10. The pair attracted much attention on the show as best friends who were both former models who both conquered drug addiction problems. Though they seemed to have a lot in common, Tyler described himself as athletic and smart, while James thought of himself as artistically inclined and more capable of handling nerve-wracking situations. From the start of the race, they arrived first at the end of leg 1, which earned them $20,000. They also acquired two more pit stop prizes, one of which was a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and the other was an individual one-year subscription of Sprint phone, which they claimed at the end of leg 9 and leg 10 respectively. Despite having detractors, their perseverance and determination to succeed paid off as they traveled four continents, 13 countries and 44,000 miles before crossing the finish line in Garrison, New York, beating out the team Rob and Kimberly
by nearly an hour.
After The Amazing Race
season 10, Tyler and James guest starred on Canada AM, a Canadian breakfast television news show hosted by Beverly Thomson and Seamus O'Regan. They also appeared in the Super bowl fourth quarter ad for Izod PerformX. In addition, Tyler landed a guest role in an episode of CSI: Miami
season four called Felony Flight, in which he played the character Pete, and appeared on the talk show Live with Regis and Kathie Lee
Though both Tyler and James appears to be living their lives on the down low, Tyler can still be seen in some modeling gigs and on the packaging of some Hanes products. James, on the other hand, continuously pursues his interest in photography and painting.
