Well, here we are now--the penultimate leg of
The Amazing Race. After enduring wasabi bombs, broken giraffes, desert snowmen and hay bales, we're just a little bit closer to seeing someone win a million dollars in Las Vegas. Just a little bit closer. I mean, we have teams arguing with other teams and, of course, teams arguing with each other. Stress is coming in. You know, the usual things that happen when you go to another country and never get to really tour it.
Anyway, on the show tonight, the four remaining teams head to the Czech Republic, which I fondly remember for being one-half of the country my parents wanted me to spell. Political history aside, it's now home to high-flying rope crosses and a bustling theater scene... well, I'm just basing it on the promos, and the tasks they're doing.
Tonight, one team loses their taxi. We know who these are. Poor Brian and Ericka, just trying to survive the race, only to find their taxi stolen by The Most Annoying Team Ever, Sam and Dan. Apparently this move will spiral them into last place. But in a race where rankings have gone up and down more than anticipated, this sort of deviation is expected.
And then there's this team who will turn back on their word and trigger an escalating feud. I wonder who? Something, I guess, that the singing and dancing Globetrotters won't be able to defuse? Ahh, history, why so unfair to the Czech Republic?
The Amazing Race returns tonight from 8pm (maybe!) on CBS.
