Hah, Mika, you were sooo bratty last week. And you, Canaan, you were sooo forceful. You can take one opinion or the other--or both--but their elimination last week wasn't really as graceful as many hoped, or expected. So I guess you both deserved the (playful!) taunts from the Globetrotters.
I don't know if tonight's
The Amazing Race would provide as much in annoying moments--the only clue we have is another Ericka breakdown, which is a bit scary considering last week she was shutting down during the Detour. I'd like to blame it on fatigue and the heat--oh, and her obsessive-compulsive tendencies, too. Fingers crossed that won't get in the way of their race, because if that does, the good karma they're relying on won't come to help them.
On tonight's episode, the teams head to the Netherlands, where we've seen the Globetrotters bring the soul train to Dutch dancing, complete with the usual (and already burnt out) Globetrotters whistling theme music bit. But crazy tasks and tendencies aside, the one thing you should be looking for is that one team who reveal a personal secret to the others.
I initially didn't have an idea who that team will be, but after writing that paragraph, it feels too obvious: Sam and Dan will come out as gay to everyone, shattering Maria and Tiffany's hearts. So much for that "
Baywatch moment", or as one of you cleverly pointed out, Maria's top almost going off after the slide. I noticed it too. Must be an effort to, I don't know, earn their favors?
The Amazing Race returns tonight from 8pm on CBS. Two disclaimers: football, and the clocks moving. Sit back and munch on all the Halloween candy you have, when you watch, kids.
