The Amazing Race: Previewing Episode 15.05 "Do It For The Hood! Do It For The Suburbs!"

It's amazing to think that Dubai is the place for everything big, or high, or tall. Just on the last leg of The Amazing Race, we saw the world's tallest building (124 floors and still not done!), a pretty big ski resort (bigger than four football fields!) and a really wide desert (it's a given). Oh, and temperatures, too--of course, being in the Middle East, you should expect to breach the 130 degree level.
Thankfully we won't have space for big idiots like Lance. Hoo-ray!
Tonight on The Amazing Race, the team continue their journey through Dubai, where they chance upon another one of those big things: a water slide that's six storeys high. That's like committing suicide, only you wear a swimsuit and slide down a ramp towards the water, which isn't really suicide because you're supposed to have fun... oh, wait, there are sharks at the bottom.
But maybe it is suicide for Mika--we've all seen the promos, of her being scared and of Canaan trying to convince her to take the plunge, or as some say, manhandle her. But it sucks for her, really. She cried last week thinking they'll have to jump off the 124th floor of the Burj Dubai. She once said she's scared of the water and has only taken swimming lessons recently--when they got into the race. Put them both together? Uh-oh.
That, and even hotter temperatures, and the Globetrotters providing us the episode title, on The Amazing Race, tonight from 8pm on CBS. Of course, this goes without saying that it all depends on when football coverage ends.
