I love my mother.  I do.  But, there is no way I would want to be her partner on The Amazing Race. There would be an incredible amount of bickering and yelling.  Family members generally love each other, but arguing is an inevitability, especially when it comes to something as stressful as The Amazing Race.  Toni and Dallas are the multi-generational team on The Amazing Race 13.  Toni raised Dallas as a single mother, and the two share a close bond.  As we continue our in-depth looks at each and every team on The Amazing Race 13, I present to you Toni and Dallas.  Enjoy.

Occupations: Toni is an Accounting Consultant.  Mark is still a student at 22 years of age. 

Recent Team They're Similar To: How about Nicolas and Donald, the grandfather/grandson team from The Amazing Race 12?  Both teams are blood relatives and have good relationships. 

Relationship: Mother/Son

Chances to Win:  Not great.  A multi-generational team has never won the race.  Also, if they were to win Toni would be the oldest person ever to finish first.  It's not easy being middle-aged and on The Amazing Race. 

Initial Thoughts:  The video below does not inspire me with confidence.  They seem nice enough, and appear to have a steady relationship, but Toni doesn't look like she's all that physically able.  Dallas, nice guy, but he's supposedly a player, a flirt, and his preposterously spiked hair plays into that whole persona.  There sounded like there was the possibility of some team strife between the two.  How could there not be?  They are thirty years apart, and the mere generational differences will definitely bubble up to the surface at some point.  Again, I certainly would not want to go on the race with my mother, and I hope Toni and Dallas know what they're getting themselves into.
