The Amazing Race 13 be the season that it finally happens? It has to happen sometime, right? There are only two all-female teams this season, and today we're going to take a look at Marisa and Brooke, the two southern belles competing on
The Amazing Race 13.
Occupations: Marisa is a Broadcast Journalism major at the University of South Carolina. She has extensive dance training in her past, which likely won't help her on the race. Brooke is currently employed as a graphic designer.
Recent Team They're Similar To: Best case scenario, they're similar to Dustin and Kandice, the most formidable all-female (and all blonde) team that I've ever seen on
The Amazing Race. But, I have a feeling they'll be more like
Shana and Jennifer, which probably isn't a great thing.
Relationship: Best friends
Chances to Win: If history is any indication, not very good. But, you know, it has to happen sometime, and if this is the year a team of ladies wins, then Marisa and Brooke could be the ones.
Initial Thoughts: In their video, the two say that they've never had a fight. This could be a good thing, but the race always tests a friendship, and it may break them when the inevitable conflict comes up. When people who aren't used to fighting do indeed fight, it can get touch and go. They seem like very nice and decent people. They cop to being quite emotional, which is also a worry. In addition, there's the silly pink jumpsuits they are wearing, which are somewhat offensive.
