The Amazing Race 13 debuts on Sunday, September 28 at 8pm.  I cannot wait.  The Amazing Race is one of the top two or three reality series of all time, an Emmy favorite, and has always fared just OK in the ratings.  It's a show for travelers in obvious ways, but it's also a show about relationships.  There's no better place to put a relationship to the test than on the road.  The couples either grow closer or begin to disintegrate.  The evolution of the relationship is accelerated, and right there on TV.  Starting today, we're going to take a look at each team on The Amazing Race 13.

Occupations: Sarah has an MBA from Wharton and now works on Wall Street in New York.  Terence sells real estate to make money, but his greatest passion is coaching runners.  He's finished the last two New York City Marathons in under three hours.  No small feat.

Recent Team They're Similar To:  TK and Rachel, last year's winners, only less hippie-ish

Relationship: Dating for almost a year

Chances to Win:  Very good.  They are young, physically fit, competitive, and younger couples have always fared well on The Amazing Race. 

Initial Thoughts:  Watching the below video, I found the duo to be a little bit annoying.  Their relationship seems kind of weird, but that just might be because they aren't used to being in front of the camera.  They definitely seem poised to do very well on the show and, considering that the only all male team consists of a couple goofy frat guys, Terence and Sarah might be the favorites to win it all going into the season.  They say they're competitive, but also seem subdued, which makes me wonder if they have tempers bubbling beneath the surface.  Other than that, there's nothing here that points to an early exit.
