The Amazing Race 12: Completely Arbitrary and Meaningless Pre-Season Predictions, 5-1
The Amazing Race 12: Completely Arbitrary and Meaningless Pre-Season Predictions, 5-1
It took me awhile, but I finally noticed that this season of The Amazing Race only has one all-male team, and that team includes a man in his sixties. The Amazing Race has been won by all-male teams more often than not and I wonder if CBS has decided to level the playing field this season.  Regardless, it's time we continue our arbitrary predictions for The Amazing Race 12, which premieres this Sunday, November 4 (see my previous post for 11 through 6).  I have a good feeling about my top few picks.
The Amazing Race is available on Amazon Prime.

#5 - Nicolas and Donald

The old man looks like he has some heart, and that will take the grandfather/grandson team pretty far.  In the end, the age gap is just too big and Donald will break down physically.

#4 – Kynt and Vyxsin

This goth couple is going to scare the hell out of locals in foreign countries.  However, like most goth couples, they will turn out to be exceedingly normal human beings and will be fan favorites.  Still, it will be that whole scaring the locals thing that will doom them in the end.

#3 - TK and Rachel

These quasi-hippies will be open-minded and knowledgeable in worldly matters, and will fare well throughout the race.  Coming down the stretch, these two will be a little too laid back to win the whole thing, but they'll be in the running until the end.

#2 – Azaria and Hendekea

This brother/sister duo will be at each other's throats all season, but will somehow be able to function well despite their bickering.  In the final leg of the Race, it's going to come down to the wire, and these two will lose by the smallest of margins, to...

#1 - Marianna and Julia

The other sibling team, these two sisters will look like the favorites from the outset.  Not only will they be the first all-female team to win The Amazing Race, they'll be fan favorites throughout, tough competitors who perform well in every aspect of the race.  Don't ask me how I know.  I just do.
