Peter and Sarah Biographies:
A clinical prosthetist, Peter Harsch allots some of his time for conducting seminars for Ossur N.A., a job that requires him to do a lot of traveling around the country. Additionally, he also coordinates with the Brooke Army Medical Center, where his main goal is to fit U.S. soldiers, who have been dismembered in the line of duty, with their own prosthetic limbs. At present, Peter resides in Laguna Beach, California and is an expert in Bionic technology and running prosthesis.
Sarah Reinertsen is a motivational speaker from Trabuco Canyon, California. At a very young age, Sarah had to have her leg amputated. Despite living most of her life with an artificial leg, Sarah has experienced tremendous achievements, including becoming the first amputee to finish the Hawaii Ironman Competition. She now lives in Mission, Viejo California.
When Peter and Sarah joined the tenth season of The Amazing Race, they had just started seeing each other. At the beginning of the competition, they proved to be one of the toughest and stronger teams, having come out first at the end of the second leg of the race, consequently winning an all-expense paid trip to Mexico. They again arrived first at the 5th pit stop in India, and were each given home gym centers. However, they quickly lost their position through the course of leg 6, and at the end, arrived last at the pit stop, and because they had been extremely late, were not greeted by host Phil Keoghan.
