10th Eliminated - 12/10 Lyn and Karlyn Biographies: Lyn Turk is a 4th grade teacher at Garywood Christian School. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Lyn has three children and among her favorite activities are traveling, reading and meeting new people. Karlyn Harris is a program analyst at Blue Cross/ Blue Shield. She lives in Helena, Alabama with her one daughter. She has a boisterous personality and a creative mind, but admits to having a fear of flying. Lyn and Karlyn have been best friends since they were a couple of ninth graders at Ramsay Alternative High School. They participated in the tenth season of The Amazing Race, during the course of the competition had formed the Six-Pack alliance with the teams of David and Mary and the Cho brothers. Although they started out at the bottom of the pack and never got to any of the 12 pit stops first, Lyn and Karlyn made it far in the race, having landed a spot in the Final Three. Even when they were yielded during the 10th leg of the race, they still managed to arrive second at the 10th pit stop. Ultimately, they were the third team to arrive at the final pit stop back in the United States, just a few hours behind the other two couples.
