CBS revealed its schedule for next season, and it's very comedy-heavy with four new sitcoms and an extra hour on Thursday to compete with NBC.

In addition, two of the network's biggest hits, Person of Interest (which is promoting Sarah Shahi to series regular) and Hawaii Five-0, are being moved to new nights and times that CBS has struggled with in the past. Person of Interest heads to Tuesdays at 10pm after a pair of NCIS dramas while Hawaii Five-0 gets shipped to Fridays (like Bones and Raising Hope on FOX or The Neighbors on ABC).

There are two new comedies on Mondays and two new ones on Thursdays, featuring actors such as Tony Shalhoub, Allison Janney, Anna Faris, Will Arnett, Margo Martindale, Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Two of these are single-camera comedies, a format CBS hasn't tried since Worst Week in 2008.

Monday at 10pm, CBS will air two new dramas. First up is the thriller Hostages, which will run consecutively through January. Then it will be replaced with Josh Holloway's high-tech procedural Intelligence.

Hit sitcom Mike and Molly is being sidelined until mid-season, a show of just how powerful CBS is. Also coming at mid-season are new drama Reckless and new sitcom Friends with Better Lives.
