The 4400 returns for a fourth season
The 4400’s fourth season premieres on June 17. This season’s 13-episode story arc features the general public (non-4400s) being given access to the drug Promicin, which will either give them 4400-like powers – or kill them.

Billy Campbell will now be a series regular as Jordan Collier. Jenni Baird joins the cast as Meghan, the new head of NTAC.

The USA Network is launching a series of websites to go along with this season’s plot, which feature videos of the main characters and other unique characters not seen on the series, as they work for and against the release of Promicin to the public. Fans are invited to upload their own videos and create characters to use in an interactive storyline.

So far the websites include PromicinInfo.com - an “informational hub covering all aspects of the Battle for Promicin,” PromicinTerror.com - an “anti-Promicin” site that heavily promotes the “unpleasant side effects” of the drug (death; monsterism,) and PromicinPower.com - a group supporting Jordan Collier in his distribution of Promicin as seen at the end of season three. More websites will be revealed as the story continues.

"One of the pieces of feedback we got was that there was not a lot of levity in the show," said Gregg Hale of Campfire Media, the company running the interactive video campaign.

"So we created a character that fits into the universe but is very, very light in tone compared to the types of things others can do in the show. He has the power to unlock the dancer in you."

Season three of The 4400 is now out on DVD in North America, with the UK release appearing as soon as June 4. A soundtrack of The 4400 is also out this month.

We’ll have more news and spoilers on this season of The 4400 as the season premiere date draws closer, so stay tuned.
