Samantha Ferris started her career in the entertainment world as a television reporter for Bellingham TV station KVOS TV 12. This Vancouver native landed many television shows like Smallville, A date with Darkness, Personal Effects, The L Word, and The Ranch to name a few. She also appeared in the multi-award winning Canadian drama Da Vinci's Inquest. At present, she plays Nina Jarvis in the science fiction series The 4400. Nina Jarvis is the head of the NTAC's Pacific Northwest Division. Upon her reign of the department, she reinstates Tom Baldwin and pairs him with Diana Skouris. Later, she gets shot in the shoulder but recovers.
